Mocha Acai Bowl & Maple Coconut Chips

Guys, I kid you not, this is the best acai bowl i’ve ever made, hands down.

The addition of cacao and coffee to the creaminess of acai is a match made in heaven. Pair that with crunchy chocolate granola, maple coconut chips and a dollop of peanut butter, YES PLS. This makes the perfect breakfast for these hot Summer days we are having in Australia so give it a go!

Mocha Acai Bowl 

  • 1/4 frozen banana
  • 2 packets of sambazon frozen acai (if using unsweetened you may want to add a dash of stevia or maple syrup)
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2-1 tbsp instant coffee powder
  • dash of coconut milk

Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth, wiping down the sides as neccesary.

Spoon in a bowl and top with fruit of choice, choc hazelnut granola, maple chips and peanut butter! DEVOUR.

Maple Coconut Chips

  • 2 cups coconut chips
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of salt

Pre heat oven to 160c

combine all ingredients in a bowl and massage with your hands to coat all of the chips with the maple syrup

Spread out evenly on a baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway

Store in an airtight container
