Choc Peanut Butter Fudge Protein Bars
- 1 cup crunchy natural peanut butter
- 1 cup coconut butter – melted (*not coconut oil!)
- 1 serve vanilla protein powder ( I use Botanika blends cake batter flavour)
- 1 1/2 cups cacao butter buttons
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup roasted almonds – roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes
- 1 serve protein powder
- Place peanut butter, coconut butter and protein powder in a bowl and stir to combine
- Pour into a lined square baking tray and place into the freezer to set
- Melt the cacao butter and honey together either in the microwave or on the stove
- Add all other ingredients and stir to mix well
- Once the peanut layer has set pour over the chocolate layer
- Place back into the freezer for another 30 minutes or until solid
- Slice and serve! Store in the fridge or freezer, it will melt quite quickly
